I came to the field of prevention after nearly a decade and a half in EMS and hospital settings.  In everything that I do, I hope to strengthen and empower communities of all sizes.  My professional interests concern the impact of community design on health equity, whether those communities are big cities, small towns, or rural areas. When not working, I find time for outdoor pursuits and spending time with my dog (Stella).  I currently hold a master's degree in public health from Southern New Hampshire University and reside in Richmond, Virginia.
